Title: PSC gearboxes
Post by: enafzige on September 10, 2009, 10:06:28 AM
So, anyone with experience with PSC gearboxes?  My stock one's ok, but I have the opportunity to by a used PSC for the old dodge for about $100.  I'd really like to have a hydraulic assist tapped box, but I'm thinking this might get me by for awhile?  Are the PSCs worh the cost?

I do not have experience with the PSC box but have heard good things. ANYTHING is better than stock and taht is a killer price. All boxes can be tapped for the hydro assist. It's just a matter of where do you drill.... There are several shops that specialze in steering boxes and they can all do it for you for a fee. Instructions are also available online (google it) if you want to try it yourself. I'd practice on an old junk box first..... I'd hate to screw up a good one.
