Custom 4x4 magazine is looking for a new leader. If you have always dreamed of running an off-road magazine and getting to go wheeling as your day job then this is your chance.
Customer 4x4 magazine was started in the year 2000 by founder Bill Cooke. It was his dream to create a new kind of off-road magazine that showcased the more extreme aspects of this sport. Today could be your turn to take over that dream. Write us and tell us why you deserve to head the NEW Custom 4x4 magazine. We'll take a look at all the applications and see who deserves the reigns most.
You MUST be at least this tall to go on this ride
  • Writing ability if not experience. Please include examples, published or not.
  • Be an avid off-roader
  • Own a cool 4x4! (no exceptions! No Street Trucks!)
  • Have some mechanical skills
  • Be a great people person
  • Enjoy traveling and wheeling
  • Own a decent digital camera
  • Have at least some computer skills (Word, email, photo edited, etc...)
The job pays squat, literally. You would be in charge of rebuilding this franchise and getting back into to the black. Compensation comes from free parts/tools and advertising monies when/if it turns a profit.

Please send resumes, bios, photos, links to videos or whatever else you think will WOW us to dreamjob@custom4x4magazine.com. We look forward to hearing from you.

Had I seen this years ago, I might have applied. What happened to this magazine?
